Oxygen saturation can be measured without blood sampling. The color of the blood makes it possible to draw conclusions about oxygen saturation: Bright red: high oxygen saturation Dark red: low oxygen saturation Oxygen saturation provides information about the percentage of hemoglobin in arterial blood that is loaded with oxygen.

This is therefore an important parameter for the assessment of respiratory function. People with a low oxygen saturation value experience the following symptoms more frequently: shortness of breath, increased heart rate, loss of performance, nervousness and sweating.

The infusion index provides information about the blood flow in your finger. Depending on the strength of the pulse, it indicates the amount of blood circulating in a certain period of time. It is important to measure the infusion index because a value that is too low can affect the results of your measurements.

To get reliable results, you need to know your normal value. You can find out by taking measurements under different conditions, such as activity level or measurement location. In general, the infusion index can be between 0.3% and 20%, but the optimal value varies from person to person.
