Our Commitment

Pikkizy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.

Current status: Partially conformant. Some parts of the content do not yet fully conform. Known issues are listed below.

Accessibility of Pikkizy relies on the following technologies:

What We've Done

  • Semantic HTML throughout all pages
  • WAI-ARIA roles, labels, and descriptions on interactive elements
  • Keyboard navigation support across menus, modals, and forms
  • Skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
  • Minimum touch target size of 44×44 CSS pixels
  • Alternative text on all meaningful images
  • Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements
  • Language declared on every page
  • Colour contrast ≥ 4.5:1 for body text (WCAG AA)

Known Limitations

The following known limitations exist. We are working to resolve them:

  • Colour contrast in dark mode: Some secondary text elements may not meet the 4.5:1 ratio in dark mode. Under review.
  • Complex data tables: Some comparison tables do not yet have full scope and header association markup.
  • Third-party widgets: Some embedded retailer price widgets may not be fully accessible. We have no control over third-party content.
  • PDF documents: Any PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible. Accessible alternatives will be provided on request.
