27 years after its creation, Makita France is firmly established in the garden market with innovative and reliable technologies. The first Lithium-ion machine was released in 2005. After its launch of the 36 V => 2 x 18 V range, Makita France has constantly offered an ever more varied range of tools.

That's why in 2015, Makita France offers the widest range on the market consisting of more than 1000 machines, including more than 200 compatible 18 V references and more than 4000 accessories. 2020 was a major turning point in terms of new technology with the creation of the new range of professional tools with 40 V Li-Ion Max battery: a range that rivals thermal and meets the most demanding jobs.

The LXT 18 V platform has also expanded, it has more than 320 compatible references that same year for the same battery. In 2021, Makita France celebrates 50 years of existence and trust by offering a new range of professional battery-powered tools: 80 V => 2 x 40 V max.
