A collection made up of iconic fragrances created more than a century ago by five generations of perfumers. Mythical and deeply innovative perfumes for their time, which make up a unique olfactory library, an incomparable and unrivaled treasure that the Guerlain House is committed to perpetuating.

Samsara is an elixir of seduction for women who have found harmony and balance, which is transmitted mainly through the raw materials in the composition: the purest sandalwood and a jasmine that, until then, was only used for religious offerings.

Designed by George Chevalier, its mythical "inverted heart" bottle is enhanced with elegant scrolls inspired by Art Nouveau. Its avant-garde stopper in the shape of a hollowed heart evokes the delicate romanticism of this monument to perfumery, a true technical feat.

Oriental woody. Harmonious, captivating and enveloping. As it rises, Samsara envelops us in jasmine flower, which dominates the fragrance until the sunny ylang ylang flower beautifies it to unite it with the radiant and generous warmth of sandalwood.

Finally, iris, tonka bean and vanilla harmonize and sublime this blend with their magnificent trail. Samsara is the first woody fragrance for women in the history of perfumery. It is built upon a beautiful sandalwood, which had never been used in these quantities in the world of perfumery.
