Clorhexidina

Lacer Chlorhexidine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic highly effective against microorganisms in dental plaque (or biofilm). Its action is rapid, maintains its effect over a long period of time, preventing bacterial recolonization of the oral cavity.

This is due to its strong binding to oral and dental surfaces, establishing a sustained release system over time. Lacer Chlorhexidine has a very pleasant taste, which facilitates patient compliance. Lacer Chlorhexidine acts at different levels: It eliminates the structure of existing bacterial plaque and inhibits the adhesion of mucosalivary proteins.

It prevents the formation of new bacterial plaque. It destroys microorganisms responsible for dental plaque formation. It is indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis. It is also effective as maintenance therapy in periodontal and pre-implant treatment, in periodontal surgery (pre and post-operative), in implantology, in dental prophylaxis for irradiated patients (rampant caries), in orthodontics and in geriatric dentistry.
