Ambre Sultan, a distinctive fragrance, resinous and emblematic of Serge Lutens' Noire Collection. A reminiscence of a fragment of amber wax, found by chance by Serge Lutens while wandering through the souks of Marrakech, later forgotten inside a thuya wood box only to be discovered years later.

The symbol of a return to identity and authenticity of raw materials. "Originating from an odiferous wax found in the souks and forgotten for a long time in the heart of a wooden box, this sultan's amber did not take shape until I had recomposed it: starting from rockrose, a plant that sticks to your fingers, a tar, and above all something that no one had thought of until then, vanilla".
